Do you know that effect in music videos, where the artist stands still in the middle while the blurred city moves around her? That’s what it’s like to be backstage before a catwalk show. Well, you get shuffled around a lot with the activity so add a bit of a market aspect to it too. Pieces getting steam-pressed for the last time, the final touches of make-up on the models… and the designer, bouncing around station to station throwing a nod or a shake. In the case of Masha, she seemed to have no pre-show jitters despite the show being her debut, looking exhausted yet calm – you could see she had all the confidence in her collection. Indeed, the show was a massive success!
