I love your accent!
Daydreaming about decorating is within my Top Five Almost-Acceptable-Ways-to-While-Away-an-Afternoon list, closely followed by watching anything with Rachel Khoo in it and rearranging my shoedrobe in colour order.
Speaking of colour, colour accents are really on trend right now in the home, and really easy to achieve. With a neutral base colour on the walls (if you’re not quite brave enough for pure white, try an off-white ivory or very pale blue) adding colour pop accessories and electricals is such a quick and inexpensive way to transform a room, without the hassle of completely redecorating.

Take inspiration from these lovely images, don’t they look individual and homely? Blue doesn’t have to be cold, and even though nights are starting to draw to a close, these pops of royal blue and cobalt still feel quite snug ‘n’ cosy.
You can keep to a one- or two-colour scheme (perhaps with a citrus feel of oranges, yellows and lime greens), or mix and match without any sort of structure. My personal fave is a palette of sea greens and teals. It doesn’t have to be exclusive to bathrooms either – who makes these rules up?
Whether it’s a neon kettle, fushia rug or lick of pillarbox red paint on a feature wall, Next Home has you covered to tick the colour accent trend, easy peasy lemon squeezy.
