Winter months call for gorgeous tones of rust, crisp leaves on the ground and beautiful auburn backdrops. Ahhh… we can just smell that pumpkin spiced candle burning away. Cuddled up in the warm in a pair of cosy slippers can be heavenly. But what if you can’t help but admit that you favour all things vibrant, green and lush. You miss summer and want to inject a little colour beside those candlelit shelves?? We asked the rest of the office which plants they have on display in their homes… Cue these super Instagrammable indoor plants to take you through until February…
These are the ones with the long green and white striped leaves that look …well rather like a spider. But don’t let that put you off. Think how ultra cool these would look stacked up on a ladder shelf or draped beside your desk. Instant freshness!
RUBBER TREE PLANTS
With shorter, darker leaves, these South American plants can grow to crazy sizes! Look out for the smaller varieties to sit in a cute, colourful pot in a kitchen or dining room.
Always a striking addition to your home – we love peace lilies. In a soft winter white with contrasting dark leaves, have them pride of place on a dinner or coffee table. Ahh!
Another one you may recognise – with textbook medium sized leaf in a dappled light and dark green. Easy to look after, these look nice sat on a dresser, popped in a window sill or to add freshness to shelving.
What are your favourite indoor plants for the season? How will you be bringing the outdoors in?
