Once again, London Fashion Week has spoilt us for choice in the upcoming Spring/Summer season! Yes, we’re aware we’ve got that little thing called Winter to get through first *yawns* but boy do we love to look at what the fash-pack will be coveting in the year ahead.

One catwalk trend that is eye-catching to say the least is Prints! … and plenty of them for that matter. Clashing…together, harmoniously.

.

Holly Fulton takes us to the City of Angels, LA in her latest collection. The blue-ness of the West Coast provides the backdrop for cluttered skylines, with photorealistic rose motifs and pin-up girls – creating a drive-through American suburbia! We love the pastel palette married with decorative, detailed prints.

Peter Pilotto showcased delicate leaf and Florentine frescoes. Exquisitely cut, straight leg trousers were teamed with floaty sleeved, blouson tops. Skirts were knee-length with either fish tail detailing or demure slits. The prints really stole the show, though. A mixture of geo-metric, abstract and monochrome… we were transported somewhere truly ethereal.

Rodarte was all about Medieval pageantry! There were chains, leather appliqué and stunning embroidery. Clothes fit for a King… (or more likely a Queen!) The luxurious fabrics and beautiful patterns with a hint of historic fantasy, make this collection perfect for summer soirées.
