Ahhh the air is full of Christmas spirit! The temperature has dropped, the lights are twinkling and the crowds are busy getting ticking presents off their shopping lists… oh it’s our favourite time of year, and this year we want to celebrate with something memorable.

Everyone has those special Christmas moments, whether it’s going ice skating with someone you love, putting up Christmas decorations at home, or taking part in your town’s rendition of the nativity play (hopefully not as that character no one remembers…sigh). This season we want you to share your best festive moments with us, so we’ve put together a fab competition called ‘Next Christmas Moments.’ You’ve got a week to get creative and to prove that yours is the ultimate Xmas moment!

For all you snap-happy, Instagram and Pinterest lovers, get your phones out and get capturing your perfect Christmas moment for the chance to win an amazing hamper full of goodies! Here’s how to get involved…

- Upload your photo on Instagram with the hashtag #nextxmasmoments and tag @nextofficial by Thursday December 13^th

- We’ll  choose our top 10 photos and pin them to our ‘Next Christmas Moments’ Pinterest board

- Then you’ll have until Monday December 17^th at 3pm to vote for your favourite photo on our board, and the photo with the most likes and repins WINS!

- We’ll announce our lucky Christmas Moments winner on Tuesday December 18th!

Next Christmas Moments Competition – Terms and Conditions

The Next Christmas Moments Competition requires entrants to take an image that captures their favourite Christmas moment and showcase it on Instagram. The details of the competition and how to enter are as follows:

Competition will run in two parts. The first part of the competition will start on Monday 10^th December

• Entrants will have to be signed up to Instagram

• They then need to follow nextofficial on Instagram http://instagram.com/nextofficial

• Once entrants have an Instagram profile they then need to take a picture of their favourite Christmas Moment, something that captures what Christmas means to them. Entrants can enter more than one image.

• Entrants must make sure to include the #nextxmasmoments in the image description.

• Entrants must publish the image on their own Instagram profile before Thursday 13^th December 2012 at midnight.

• The second part of the competition will start on Friday 14^th December; this part of the competition will take place on Pinterest.

• Next will choose their favourite 10 images from all images entered into the competition on Instagram and pin all 10 to the Next Pinterest account http://pinterest.com/nextoffical, onto a Pinterest board named Next Christmas Moments

• The entrants whose images make it into the top 10 will be notified by Friday 14^th December.

• Once the images are live on the Next Christmas Moments board, the top 10 entrants are encouraged to gain as many interactions on their image as they can.

• The image with the most interactions (which includes likes, repins or comments) will be declared the winner and win the prize of a Christmas Hamper worth up to £100 as chosen by Next.

• If there are multiple images with the same number of interactions then a winner will be picked from those entries at random by Next.

• The competition will close on Monday 17^th December at Midnight.

The winner will be notified after December 19^th via Facebook and Twitter. There will then be details of how to claim the prize.

The competition winner must claim their prize within 3 days of notification being sent and Next reserves the right to select an alternative winner should the prize not be claimed within this time. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or otherwise and no cash alternative will be offered. Next reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or higher value in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Liability cannot be accepted for entries which are lost in transit or not received by Next due to technical difficulties.

Competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom, Channel Islands, and Isle of Man who are aged 18 or over only. One entry per person.

Next reserves the right to exclude from the competition any entry that does not meet the criteria set out in these Terms and Conditions.

Next’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. We reserve the right to feature the winning Pinterest board and all images pinned to it, as well as the name and county of the prize winner in future publications and publicity. Next reserves the right to apply the value of the prize to any outstanding account(s) of Next Group Companies.

The winner’s name and will be available from December 21^st  by sending an email to nextcompetition@next.co.uk. This promotion is not open to employees of Next, their families, associated agents, or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
