A couple of weeks ago, we took 6 TOP style bloggers to the fashion capital of France to investigate how the locals have mastered ‘effortless chic’… I mean, let’s face it – it’s something we could all do with knowing.
As well as taking outfit snaps around some of the city’s most iconic landmarks and watching the world go by from the Tuileries Garden, the bloggers also sampled the delights of French cuisine (FFG gave a shout out to Le Grand Colbert’s onion soup in her recent post!)
Most notable, was our trip to a macaron cooking class which involved some serious know-how into the world of those colourful little snacks. Who knew it was only the creamy centre which provided the flavour? Turns out the meringue is just almond flour and food colouring!
Eating aside, the trip was a fabulous insight into the world of Parisian style. Less is most definitely more. Clean lines and luxe fabrics prevail, while a mono palette offset with hints of blush and camel really make for a stylish ensemble.
