Having blown the dust off our desks and reunited fingers with keyboard – it’s back to business as usual. To prevent the January blues getting the better of us, we’ve decided to have a bit of fun with our working wardrobe. Getting up in the small hours to blast our bods in the gym is made considerably better knowing there’s a new outfit waiting for us in the locker (granted, it might be a bit creased).
This kind of gratification is what’s getting us through the hardest 31 days in the calendar. Why not join us in turning January into an absolute fash-fest by shopping our latest spring collections! Here’s what we’ll be wearing…
Culottes were big business in 2014 but not everyone welcomed them with open arms. They’re a tricky style to nail but you need to persevere, trust us! If you’d prefer something moooore ‘short-like’ but not legs’r'us, then why not give the Bermuda style a go? These ones are totes appropes for the office with a tailored fit and clever pleats to streamline your pins! They look fabulous with a bronzed leg, but we do appreciate it’s January – so tights ARE acceptable!
Though mono is still our go-to combo, we’re sprucing it up with a pop of ochre. Layer this cardi over a shirt for the ultimate preppy look, or wear on its own with a statement necklace.
Moving onto outerwear – our favourite subject – this zip coat is ticking all the boxes! Mono… animal print… collarless… it’s fast earning stalwart status. We’re wearing it open with cuffed sleeves to show a flash of cardi!
Accessorise-wise, simple, pared-back design is what it’s all about for bags this season. This one is a GEM! Smart enough for the office, it’s also super practical for outside-of-work outings with an across-body strap.
Shiny shoes are always on our shopping list and these silver sandals are the dreamiest of them all. The block heel is a forgiving height so if you’re running around a lot at work – you won’t be crippled come EOP. They’re also jazzy enough to take you from dinner to dancefloor – just whip the tights off and unveil a perfect pedi!
