Knowing what to wear on Valentine’s Day can often be a tougher decision than how to celebrate, especially if it’s a first date or in the early stages of your relationship! Impressing your date is obviously very important, but feeling comfortable and ultimately – confident in what you’re wearing is an absolute must! So we threw it open to some fashion bloggers for their take on Valentine’s Day dressing…
Keeping it cute and casual is one way to tackle your date outfit. Alex of What Alex Wears has gone lowkey with a knit jumper (with gorrrgeous bow-back detail), jeans and peep-toe ankle boots. It’s practical enough should you not know where your date may lead, but dress-uppable with the addition of a clutch and dash of lippy! Carly of Beauty Sauce has also taken the laidback route. Her Parisian-inspired blouse is both chic and flirty. She’s kept it casual with jeans and box fresh sneaks! Someone else who’s feeling those Parisian city of love vibes is Laura of Laura’s Little Locket – she’s opted for a mono ensemble (we’re really digging that stripe blazer) with a pop of red!
Stepping it up with some leather look trousers, Sinead of Love Style Mindfulness has gone for some serious sass on the bottom half. Her patent strap courts are statement without being too overbearing, plus the sturdy heel means they’re a good choice after a few drinks! Sylvia of Sylvia’s Sparkles has styled out her bump with an on-trend ruffle shoulder blouse and jeans. She’s also opted for a dash of red with our bouclé jacket – j’adore! Finally, Andreea of Launeden proves that dressing up is the perfect way to make Valentine’s Day even more special. She’s gone for all-out glamour with our off-the shoulder dress and killer heels – swoon!
